The Department of Architecture was established in 2010 within the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. As of the 2019-2020 academic year, student admission has started. The language of education is Turkish.

The purpose of establishment of the Department of Architecture is to train contemporary architects who are respectful to the environment, society and ethical values, and who can use knowledge and technology correctly, and have creative, entrepreneurial and leader characteristics.

The educational goal of the Department of Architecture is to educate and train students who can practice at national and international level and have knowledge and equipment related to architecture.

In this training, besides the objectives determined in the national education system, the objectives set by the United Nations Educational Institution (UNESCO) and the European Community Commission will also be followed.

In line with these purposes, architectural education is given in the fields of architectural design, building knowledge, architecture and art history, conservation and restoration.
